I’ll be exploring the critical role of physical support in individuals diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as their families.
Being there to assist them (us) physically as we oftentimes lack the physical or mental strength to get things done. Physical support encompasses things like going grocery shopping for the person, cooking, assisting with laundry and sometimes just being there physically for the individual says to the individual going through breast cancer that I care.
I have been and still am being helped physically and it’s my desire that individuals and their families will learn a thing or two from these episodes.

In this episode, I'll explore the importance of counseling in the breast cancer journey, emphasizing its profound impact on the emotional and psychological well-being of patients and their families.
Here I’ll discuss how counseling offers a safe, confidential space to express fears and challenges, aiding in the management of anxiety and depression that often accompany any diagnosis. Counseling empowers individuals to navigate the complexities of treatment and survivorship, fostering resilience and a sense of control.

Stigmatizing breast cancer not only isolates those affected but also hinders awareness, early detection, and support that can save lives.
Breast cancer is a medical condition, it's not a source of shame and it affects millions of people regardless of age, gender, or background.
By breaking the stigma I aim to foster open conversations, support overcomers and patients, and help them to recognize that strength lies in solidarity, not silence.
In speaking up, my aim is to empower others to seek help, share their stories, and access the care they deserve. Let’s replace fear and judgment with compassion and understanding—because no one should face breast cancer alone or in silence.

We will be delving into the symptoms of breast cancer I had to deal with. My aim is to equip patients and their families with essential knowledge for early detection and proactive health management. Recognizing these signs can lead to timely medical consultations and improved outcomes. Note all the symptoms are the same and you have to know your body to know that something is wrong.
My symptom was constant pain in the right armpit and breast. This pain was alluded to tight undergarments the first time that I advised my then family doctor. After going back 3 months later, he sent me to do tests.
